Get Rid of Saddle Soreness with MoonSaddle

Have you ever ridden a bike for exercise? If you have chances are you've experienced saddle soreness. You know what I'm talking about, right?

You get off of your bike feeling achhey or numb in your groin and walk around for a while like someone wearing a wet diaper.

It's not a laughing matter.

Saddle soreness has prompted a large number of bike seat alterations from thicker bike seat baps to stool shaped seats. While those innovations were all made with good intentions, they still fell short of getting rid of saddle soreness because each of those innovations missed the true source of saddle soreness-the nose of the seat.

The nose of a bicycle saddle is the root cause of discomfort and other more serious problems for cyclists. Luckily, for all of us bicycle afficianados someone (Dennis Bell) realized this and took action. Dennis designed a noseless bicycle seat and named it the MoonSaddle after it's shape -a crescent moon.

This design completely gets rid of the pressure on the perineum of a cyclist. Persistent pressure from riding a bicycle for long periods of time on a traditional bike seat can result in a lower sperm count and erectile disfunction in men from excessive pressure on the perineum. Women also suffer other side effects from pressure on their perineums as well.

MoonSaddle bike seats succedd where soft gel seats fail. Padded seats cause additional pressure on the perineum because it allow the cyclist to sink donw whereas the MoonSaddle bike seat shifts the cyclist's weight to more natural position so that the skeletal system can do its job properly.

You may have to play around with the height of your seat to get adjusted to the new feel of riding your bicycle because you no loner have to straddle the seat. Instead, you'll be riding in a sitting position. (More on seat adjustment later.)

You can truly feel more freedom without a bicycle seat nose between your legs. If you love riding your bike, you should consider giving MoonSaddle bike seats a try!

MoonSaddle Bike Seats

MoonSaddle Bike Seats

I recently discovered MoonSaddle Bike seats in an outdoor magazine my grandmother gave me. Traditional bike seats are ridiculously uncomfortable after a short period of time and can cause not only discomfort but sexual dysfunction in men and women.

I really can't believe that someone hasn't come up with a new idea for a bike seat any sooner than the Moonsaddle people have.

MoonSaddle seats relieve pressure by its unique design which is, as the name suggests a half-moon shape. This design avoids unnecessary pressure on the genitals and groin. This ensures a smoother more pleasant ride that allows you to go biking all day comfortably.

I may be getting ahead of myself just a little bit for the first post. From moonsaddle.blogspot.com you can expect to read the latest information on MoonSaddle products, biking, and posts on different types of bike seats.

Until later, chao!
